ROSA LAURA

Rosa Laura is a mixed media artist from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Currently working in the intersection of painting, xerography, tattooing and performance, their background is in Architecture and Urbanism. Rosa held a Private Art and Tattoo Studio for two years in Sao Paulo - while also studying tattooing with Jun Matsui, a well known Japanese-Brazilian tattooer. In 2018, Rosa worked as a guest artist at several queer tattoo studios around the USA and Europe and since 2019 they have been a full-time tattooer at Welcome Home Studio in Brooklyn, New York. The artist advocates for gender equality and diversity online and offline and is committed to creating a welcoming space for their clients.
